Panel: "The Environmental Impact of Films"
A conference on the environmental impact of a film, from its conception to its presentation, in collaboration with various experts (CNA, Filmfund, European Commission, festival networks...).
The 90-minute panel will be held at the Auditorium Cité of the Cercle Cité and aims to explore the environmental impact of films throughout the filmmaking process – from writing and production to presentation and distribution of the film. The Luxembourg City Film Festival plans to follow up in 2025, aiming to produce a document or tool based on the conclusions of the discussions initiated in the current edition of the festival.
Panelists:
Leslie Vuchot, The Festival Agency – Moderator
Guillaume Calop – Les Arcs Film Festival / Green Charter for Film Festivals
Sébastien Tasch – Film Fund Luxembourg
Mylène Carriere – Centre National de l’Audiovisuel (CNA)
The panel is aimed at distributors, festivals, the local film industry, and students in film from the Greater Region (LuxFilmFest Campus project of the Festival), but it is also open to a broader audience interested in the ecological impact of the film industry.
