Rozafa Elshan, Winner of the Luxembourg Photography Award Mentorship 2023
Starting from the medium of photography, Rozafa Elshan pursues an in-depth research into the relationship between the body, space and time, and uses other tools such as drawing, sculpture and installation to materialize a hollow distance that is always shifting and changing. Her practice is above all rooted in ordinary everyday life and dynamic wandering. Her exploration takes place in the midst of an invasive flow of possibilities, perpetually reconfigured in different variations, with no beginning and no end. She is interested in prolonging the perception of things and stretching the temporality of the instant to its very edge.
Rozafa Elshan is the winner of the Luxembourg Photography Award mentorship 2023, created by Lët'z Arles in collaboration with the CNA. This is a 3-month residency in partnership with the École nationale supérieure de la photographie d'Arles, on the theme of "Espaces imprimés".
The exhibition "1 - 2 - 3 HIC HIC SALTA!" provides an opportunity to share the research work carried out in Arles with the public, while also marking the artist's first exhibition in a national institution in Luxembourg.
Opening on Saturday February 24 at 11 a.m.
Exhibition open from 24.02. to 07.07.2024 | Tuesday to Sunday | 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Exhibition organized in collaboration with Lët'z Arles
