The Family of Man during the Luxembourg Museum Days: informative and interactive .
Our exhibtion of Edward Steichen's world renowned collection 'The Family of Man' will once again be taking part in the Luxembourg Museum Days on 16 and 17 May 2026.
On both days, free guided tours will enable visitors to discover the collection, its eventful history and the fascinating biography of its curator Edward Steichen in a family-friendly way.
The creative cyanotype workshop on offer for the entire weekend is also aimed at the whole family. This historic photographic technique makes it possible to create beautiful deep-blue images using objects, plants, or silhouettes exposed to light. Visitors of all ages are invited to experiment with this simple and playful process and create their own print to take home as an original souvenir of their visit. No prior knowledge or registration is required
