General Public Temporary Closure of the Archives

In 2025, Centre national de l'audiovisuel (CNA) will undertake a major campaign to consolidate and optimize its archives. The goal is to harmonize a substantial amount of data, both internally and online, to make the CNA even more accessible.

To dedicate the necessary resources to this ambitious project, we regret to inform you that the CNA will temporarily suspend processing new requests for access to its collections from January 1 to December 31, 2025. Additionally, no new acquisitions will be undertaken during this time.

Ongoing requests, pending acquisitions, and legal deposit operations will continue to be handled as usual. We are committed to keeping the public regularly updated on the progress of the project.
