The Centre national de l'audiovisuel (CNA) is delighted to be taking part in the 14th Luxembourg City Film Festival! In addition to the usual film screenings and special sessions for schools, the CNA is involved in a number of events and is organizing a whole selection of activities as part of the festival: 
 
 
Industry Days : 01.03 – 02.03.2024
 
Members of two federations (Europa Film festivals and Europa International) come together to tackle the challenges facing the industry. At conferences, workshops and social events, they meet the Luxembourg professional scene and the festival's international guests to build synergies and foster networking.
 

 

Crème Fraiche : 02.03.2024
 

Every year, the Service national de la jeunesse (National Youth Service), in partnership with the Centre national de l'audiovisuel, organises a film competition as part of the Luxembourg City Film Festival. The competition is open to young audiences aged between 12 and 30 in Luxembourg.

The winners will be announced on Saturday 2 March 2024 at 2.30 pm at Kinepolis Kirchberg. During this 'Crème Fraîche' event, the winning short film from the 'Zenario + 2023' competition, 'Zodi', will also be presented to the public.

Showcase shorts made in/with Luxembourg:  04.03.2024

Screening of short films made in Luxembourg at 7pm at Kinépolis Kirchberg. Among the films selected: "Zodi" by Hubrecht L.Brand. The film, with a screenplay by Nora Kehli, won the prize in the "Zenario +" category at the Crème Fraîche competition in 2023 and was produced by the Centre national de l'audiovisuel.

Series: And…Cut! Saison 2 : Du 29.02 au 09.03.2024

And... Cut! is a series of short interviews about cinema, why and how we make it, giving a voice to professionals in the film industry. The series is filmed and produced during the Luxembourg City Film Festival and aims to make cinema and filmmaking accessible to a wider audience.

Given the success of the first season of the series in 2023 and the very positive feedback from professionals in the sector (both national and international), the CNA and LuxFilmFest are continuing to produce new interviews during the 14th edition of the festival.
