Cultural Appropriation: Constraint(s) or Opportunity(ies) for Cinema (PART II)
One year after the fabulous presentation on the issue of cultural appropriation, sociologist Eric Fassin returns to conduct workshops on defining the concept of cultural appropriation in the field of cinema.
Participants, gathered in working groups, will have the opportunity to apply the proposed methodology to concrete case studies of films in order to determine whether the classification of cultural appropriation is applicable or not, and why.
Dates: Friday, March 1, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and Saturday, March 2, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Price: Free, by invitation or reservation only
Audience: Reserved for professionals in cinema and culture who attended the first part during the 2023 edition
