"So So Summer" is a project developed by the Centre national de l'audiovisuel (CNA) in order to promote its archival collection and highlight the richness of Luxembourg's audiovisual heritage. Since the first edition in 2013, the event has become more transversal and multimedia in its approach and has taken on more of an “after-work” character. The special setting of ‘Waassertuerm + Pomhouse’ with its idyllic terrace contributes greatly to the relaxed and summery atmosphere of 'So So Summer’.
On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the exhibition space 'Waassertuerm+Pomhouse', this year's edition is dedicated to ‘Souvenirs de Dudelange’ (Memories of Dudelange) – in homage to the former industrial site and its workers. Reminiscences of a time when Dudelange was hailed as the ‘Forge du Sud’. As for the last editions, the keyword for So So Summer 2022 is "collaboration". For the 2022 edition, the CNA has thus decided to perpetuate its partnership with the city of Dudelange and standart creative studio.
Every Thursday from July 28 to September 1 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., we invite the public to come and enjoy the exceptional setting of Pomhouse where they can discover a selection of images from the CNA archives as well as the exhibition 'Stëmme vun der Schmelz ' in a festive atmosphere with good tunes and delicious food created by Rucolino.
THE MUSIC
Each evening will be punctuated by a musical performance by a Luxembourg artist:

THE FOOD
For this edition of So So Summer, we are collaborating with the Dudelange vegan restaurant Rucolino to create delicious meals for our visitors. Enjoy their locally sourced, fresh and seasonal dishes, inspired by Italian cuisine. Every Thursday, the Rucolino team prepares two new dishes for us with veggies, pasta, pizza and more accompanied by delicious toppings...
THE BAR
Drinks will be served by the non-profit organization 'Catch a smile' and the proceeds from the bar will go to this association which helps refugees at the borders of the European Union (Balkans, Greece, Calais and Dunkirk). Visit www.catchasmile.org to find out more about the organization and its commitment to help out people in precarious situations.
THE ARCHIVES
Each evening, we invite you on a journey to the past through the presentation of treasures from our archives. In the spirit of the main theme 'Souvenirs de Dudelange', all the excerpts from our collections presented here have a link with the former Schmelz and/or document Dudelange's history...
THE EXHIBITION
The exhibition 'Stëmme vun der Schmelz' will be open every Thursday until 10 p.m. and we will have a guide on site, ready to share their knowledge and to offer you spontaneous guided tours! Numerous historical documents as well as interviews with former workers form the starting point for a multimedia immersion in the past of the Waassertuerm+Pomhouse site.
